Has anybody acquired a classic car via Sivalyn Group?

I've been looking at a repossessed 1968 Chevy Camaro on eBay motors that was offered by the Sivalyn Group. They specialize in old vehicles and heavy gear and provide escrow services as well as shipping.

Has anyone dealt with these before? I'm excited but yet worried because it's a large buy. Any feedback would be appreciated!

I picked up a 1970 Ford Mustang from Sivalyn Group around four months back. I totally get where you're coming from; I felt the same way, but it turned out to be for real. I got my Mustang just a week after I paid, and it all went pretty smoothly. They were pretty solid with communication as well.

I didn’t buy from them myself, but my brother picked up a 1969 Dodge Charger through Sivalyn Group last year. He never saw the car in person before buying either. He was a bit skeptical at first, but the escrow system gave him peace of mind. Everything turned out great—he’s still driving it, and it’s in fantastic shape.

I’m like you, though—I’d prefer to see the car before buying. But in my brother’s case, it worked out.

Thanks for the reassurance, ranger . I’ve read a lot about online scams, especially with bigger purchases like this, so I’m just trying to be cautious. That escrow service seems to be the real deal though.

I had similar worries when I bought a 1965 Corvette Stingray through Sivalyn Group last year. I did some research, and they’re legit—registered with all the proper authorities here in Florida. I also checked with my bank before sending the money, and they confirmed that escrow systems like the one Sivalyn uses offer fraud protection. That gave me the confidence to go ahead with the deal.

Exactly, Amarok . I made sure to save all my receipts and emails just in case, but Sivalyn was great throughout the process. They gave me regular updates and were easy to reach if I had questions. The loader arrived exactly as promised.

UPDATE: Just paid for the 1968 Chevy Camaro , and they’ve confirmed it will arrive next week. Hoping everything goes as planned!

FINAL UPDATE: The Camaro arrived today, a couple of days later than expected but no big deal. It’s in perfect condition, exactly as described. The paperwork was all in order, and I even got a detailed service history with it.

Overall, I’m really happy with the experience. Big thanks to everyone for the help!
