I would appreciate it if someone could review this diagram I created and tell me if I am on the correct path or provide guidance. Thank you in advance.
A more comprehensive explanation of the problem.
The vehicle fails to start and thereafter displays code P0087, indicating low fuel rail pressure, which has been confirmed.
The Fuel Pump, Fuel Sender, Fuel Filter, Fuel Pressure Sensor, and Mass Air Flow Sensor have all been changed for different reasons. Auction vehicle with several defects.
I saw a discussion indicating that the gasoline lines may get pinched on certain vehicles. Loosened the fuel tank holding bracket and adjusted the gasoline lines (1. Fuel feeder line from the fuel pump to the filter, 2. Delivery line exiting the fuel filter, 3. Smaller diameter line from the engine to the fuel tank, 4. Larger diameter line from the engine to the fuel tank).
Subsequent to this action, the vehicle engaged, ignited, and commenced operation.
I subsequently secured all components (fuel filter holding bracket, fuel tank retaining bracket, etc.) and we have returned to a state of low fuel rail pressure.
Detach the quick connect from the Fuel Filter Out and confirm fuel pressure readings both before to and subsequent to the fuel filter. Everything is satisfactory here. It is necessary to detach the gasoline tank and examine the lines; however, visibility is obstructed without completely removing the tank.
Through further assertive adjustments, it was determined that Line 4 was pinched or compressed.
I am now at the repair and reassembly phase, but I am uncertain about the routing of these lines, particularly because there are two distinct lines (2 and 4) with fast disconnects that might potentially link to the fuel pump.
I am uncertain about the trajectory of line 3 after it is directed behind the tank.
Any assistance or direction is much appreciated.
