2008 Ford Focus. The engine operates at elevated RPM when driving. When inactive, it is acceptable or beneficial.

Repairs: rectified valve cover because to oil accumulation in the spark plugs.

Replaced the spark plugs.

Fresh oil and fresh transmission fluid. Utilizing filters.

I cleaned my throttle body, which improved my idling significantly.

I have seen lower fuel efficiency at higher RPMs.

Assistance is requested.
I am uncertain about its nature. Mechanics have informed me that it is typical. However, I have had this automobile for almost ten years, and it has never shown this issue before.

Does your automobile have a manual or automatic transmission? Inspect, clean, or replace the MAF as necessary.

It is automatic. Upon cleaning my throttle body. The mass airflow sensor seemed pristine and lustrous. I believe it was also replaced. Uncertain on the timing of its replacement.

You have yet to specify the engine in your vehicle. Inspect for any vacuum leaks, then examine the PCV valve and hose.

I have just inspected for vacuum leaks using soapy water.
No vacuum leaks.
