Fuel pumps are not priming.

I own a 1999 Toyota Camry with a 2.2-liter engine. I want to install a JL Audio 1000/1 monoblock amplifier and a JL Audio 280/4 four-channel amplifier. I will operate the four-channel amplifier at 50 watts per channel, along with two 10-inch Kicker CompR subwoofers, each rated at 400 watts RMS. The only concern is my lack of sufficient power to guarantee optimal efficiency in operations. I am seeking to improve my alternator to a capacity of about 120-150 amps, however I am encountering significant difficulty in locating suitable options. I have seen individuals offering these on eBay for between $150-$200, but I am uncertain about their reliability. Aside than that, I am unable to locate any sellers offering anything under 250 amps for more than $300. Am I making an error? Are there more locations I should consider exploring?

Generation 2, 420 seconds; the vehicle was functioning OK. After removing the left rocker cover to install a new gasket and releasing the fuel lines, gasoline leaked out. Upon reattachment, the car fails to start, and the fuel pumps are not priming.
Connected the battery directly to the pump; it operates momentarily before shutting off. Attempted to bridge pins 7 and 8 with same results. Any suggestions on the potential source of this issue?
If the W126 runs out of gasoline, would the pumps cease priming?

I anticipate that the pumps will operate constantly when battery electricity is provided as you said.

How can the pump achieve priming in the absence of gasoline in the tank?

What is the voltage of the battery?

cranks vigorously I do not believe it is the battery, since the issue occurred immediately after disconnecting the fuel lines to remove the rocker cover.

Added a few gallons of gasoline; however, there is no change as the pumps are not buzzing or priming, while the engine cranks vigorously.
The direct 12v live wire to the pump from the vehicle battery was attached to the terminals of the car loom, although it resulted in no action other than a brief buzzing of the pump.

The pumps are new Bosch products that have not been used, just idled.

Can a malfunctioning EZL prevent the pumps from priming? Upon ignition, I can hear the EZL and ABS clicking.

All resolved; I accessed the boot and removed the right side arch carpet, likely disturbing the earth connection found at W7, rear right arch. I removed and cleaned it, and it is now primed and operational again.

I'm pleased you resolved the issue. They are quite difficult to pursue when they choose to abandon fair play!

Indeed, there may have been a multifaceted issue; however, the day was squandered attempting to identify the problem.

The "priming" function is entirely executed by the fuel pump relay. Although priming may be the intended outcome, it is a consequence of the safety cutoff. Upon activation of the ignition switch, electricity is sent to the relay, which then energizes the pump. If no RPM is measured for one second, the relay deactivates the pump.

If the starter is activated, the pump operates, and upon engine ignition, the RPM signal maintains its operation.
