Foot/Pound configurations

Hello, I typically work on a Volvo. I inherited a 2014 Kia Sorento 2.4 GDI LX FWD and am used to torquing all components on a Volvo to specifications. Kia seems to be handling these figures like if they were a tightly kept secret of the Korean government, since the numbers I encounter in searches fluctuate by 20 ft/lbs. Seeking specifications for:

Oil drain plug
Oil filter, spark plugs
Wheel lug fasteners

I want to replace the oil this week to Motul 8100 Power 5W-30. Thank you in advance.

The drain plug torque specification ranges from 25.3 to 32.5 lb-ft.
The oil filter is a spin-on kind, thus it should be hand-tightened. However, the specification ranges from 8.7 to 11.6 lb-ft.
Spark plugs: 10.8 to 18.0 lb-ft
Wheels: 65.1 to 79.6 lb-ft

I have never used a torque wrench on drain plugs. Secure it firmly and apply further force if it shifts; if it remains stationary, it is sufficiently tightened. An aluminum crush washer, for instance, provides some leeway in preventing overtightening. While exerting effort is necessary, one should avoid over-tightening the threads and refrain from use an oversized wrench. A standard ratchet suffices.

I would flee from any establishment using an air or cordless wrench for oil changes. Additionally, extended leverage bars may be required unless you consulted someone who tightened it excessively, necessitating its removal. These plugs are manually applied and rotated prior to securing. No extended ratchet or bar is required for tightening, particularly when a seal or crush washer is present.

I believe that 86-88 lb-ft is optimal for alloy rims, whereas anything below 85 is insufficient. I use 95 lb-ft for steel wheels.

I concur; I observe my torque wrench set at 85 and adhere to that. Subsequently, I recheck them at least twice after being driven for many weeks. There is always at least one that is incorrect. I see several airborne tires now. There must be some element in the atmosphere at that season. However, I am not eager to undergo them.
