Is there a crisis around LSD? (Just say it’s OK)

BMW erroneously filled my M Performance limited-slip differential with open differential fluid, despite my informing the service representative of the LSD installation; they assumed the technician would recognize the distinct LSD, which I understand is not feasible.

I must return to flush it.
If I drive it back, I will have accumulated around 45 miles with the incorrect fluid.

Will the difference be acceptable?
Should I advocate for a flatbed tow, since it seems that further complications may arise?

What is your opinion, esteemed forum members?

I am unfamiliar with the particulars of the various oils, but I would assume the weight difference is not substantial.Does it influence the locking characteristics of the differential? Did you see any anomalies when traveling home?

I would transport it to the store, maybe at a reduced speed and via the most direct route possible.

Clutch-type limited-slip differentials need friction modifiers for optimal clutch functionality. Otherwise, it will exhibit erratic behavior between sliding and locking.

Chat GPT suggests that the absence of friction modifiers may lead to problems over time, including chattering sounds and damage to the clutch plates.

I believe it will not pose a significant problem if I do not participate in aggressive cornering under acceleration or do "burnouts" while driving it to the shop, which I have previously done.

I was provided with a new 230i to operate for the day.
Impressed by the much smoother ride compared to my 2019 M240i.
I am also astonished that there are no pops or crackles in any setting.
… It took seven attempts to synchronize it with my phone.

I like both a cushioned ride and a solid ride, depending on the car's intended use. It constituted a compelling transformation. The 230 had a rather ethereal quality. I concluded that it required softer springs and thicker sway bars. However, I now believe it may just be weaker springs with comparable oscillations.

During enthusiastic driving, I anticipate that I would perceive excessive front-to-back heaving. However, I did not use it with sufficient intensity to ascertain its capabilities.

I mostly missed my vehicle.
