Has anybody had the issue of AC hoses becoming stuck to the compressor?

Attempting to replace the AC compressor, however, had difficulty in disconnecting and separating the hoses from the compressor after removing the bolts.

They are expected to have a snug fit.

There is a "pin" located in the fittings that has to be removed from the original compressor and put in the same position on the new one. This process is much simpler to do on a workbench rather than at the actual location. The pin serves the purpose of aligning the connections and preventing them from being twisted or turned sideways.

Additionally, each pipe is equipped with a plastic collar at its tip that serves to internally align the pipe(s). As a result, the hoses must be retrieved and inserted with a high degree of precision, practically perpendicular to their respective surfaces.

Gently swaying the tube back and forth may assist in its removal, but use caution and avoid excessive movement.

Currently attempting to discover the mounting bracket for the AC compressor. I have removed the wheel on the driver's side and the splash guard, but I am unable to locate the access point for the two bolts in question.

To remove the compressor, you need to unscrew all the mounting bolts except for one, which is too lengthy to be removed. This means that you have to remove the complete compressor to block mounting adapter.

There is a bolt located at the back of the mount, which is rather evident. Additionally, there are a pair of bolts that are positioned inside recesses in the mount itself, connecting it to the block.

When reassembling, ensure that you move the mount, with the single long bolt loosely attached to the compressor, as you position the mount back onto the block.

I successfully managed to release the compressor from its locked position. I am only able to perceive the presence of the two recessed bolts, each measuring 10 millimeters in diameter. Which tool did you use to access such a confined space? I attempted to use a 1/4 drive, but it proved to be too lengthy when combined with the socket. I attempted to use a 10mm offset box wrench, which was capable of reaching the front bracket bolt next to the compressor pulley. However, there was insufficient space to loosen it. Therefore, I am aware that it is impossible to reach the adjacent bolt.
You previously referred to a third bolt located at the rear. I absolutely do not perceive that one. Furthermore, the repair manual failed to specify the need for removing a third bolt.

Correction: There are just two 10mm bolts on the bracket. It has been a duration of six weeks since I last performed this task 🙂

Utilizing the force of gravity, I am certain that I used a 10mm wrench equipped with a swivel end from the upper side in order to generate a space between the unsecured compressor and the mount.

I fully disassembled the air cleaner box and repositioned the PAS reservoir to provide more space for easier access from above, if that any assistance.

Indeed, I relocated the airbox too. I will attempt to relocate the Power Assisted Steering reservoir.

The wrench would be ideal.
