I used normal silicone caulk from the hardware store, specifically designed for exterior applications, if I recall correctly. It is necessary to let it to cure for more than two days; I reinstated mine after one and three-quarters days, and it detached from the glass when I used the window.
I have utilized urethane gutter caulk from hardware stores for similar tasks; it may have a marginally shorter curing time in high humidity. However, unless you have numerous applications, purchasing a cartridge is not advisable, as they typically expire within a month of opening. Smaller tubes of RTV are available for such purposes.
I remember fabricating a spacer from pieces of rubber bands to maintain the glass's alignment in the gap on the guide while the adhesive set. The glass was first secured using rubber-impregnated cloth and a press or hammer; utilizing a liquid does not inherently ensure the glass remains centered in the gap.
Eliminate the remaining three and clean them, along with the glass; address all of them, since they are likely to detach imminently if they have not already done so.
