The bolt I anticipated would be the simplest to remove has proven to be the most challenging. Replacing the bottom idler wheel and tensioner was rather straightforward.
However, this top 40 Torx bolt almost sheared immediately.

I used an Allen wrench in conjunction with many other persuasive techniques, however had no results.

Any suggestions? Limited space exists between the radiator and this bolt.

Alas! Could you detach the remaining plastic and secure the hub using vice grips or locking pliers?

Is this a 648 model?

It is difficult to grasp the remaining plastic due to its rotation.

All tools I use to grasp the bolt are ineffective.

If the bolt or permanent component of the hub cannot be turned, you must remove the radiator support and any other obstructions to facilitate drilling, or alternatively, safeguard the surrounding areas of the pulley and proceed with an angle grinder. Are you aware of anybody possessing portable equipment to weld a nut onto the remnants of a bolt?

The purple is immobile. If I could induce rotation, it would be concluded. It was supposed to be released.

Seize the purple hub and use it to rotate the bolt. Initially, apply the penetrant spray on the reverse side of the pulley.

Consider contouring the purple component into a square configuration using a small grinder or die grinder to get an optimal spanner fit. Alternatively, meticulously excise the whole assembly to retain just the bolt shank, then grasp it.
