R8 Fidelity warranty for non-dealer, non-warranty vehicles

I am seeking a second-generation R8. Has anybody obtained the Fidelity Platinum Warranty via an Audi dealer for a vehicle not bought from that dealer?

I contacted my local Audi dealership and informed them of my intention to purchase a 2017 R8 via a third-party vehicle dealer. They verified the VIN and confirmed that I may acquire a warranty via them for $8,000 for a duration of three years, without the need of an examination. 2017 with 30,000 miles This seems to be too optimistic. My prior experience with CPO, specifically with McLaren, is that one must present their current under-warranty car for examination before being permitted to renew the CPO.

I understand this may not be a direct comparison, but I would appreciate hearing any experiences from anyone who have purchased an out-of-warranty R8 from a third-party dealer or private seller and then added a Fidelity warranty.

With the R8, you may implement the Fidelity warranty just as you described. Inspection is unnecessary. This site offers suppliers for Fidelity, allowing you to get a comparative estimate.

Last year, I purchased a fidelity extended warranty from my local Audi dealership. They provide maintenance for my vehicle, yet I did not get it from them. No inspection was necessary.
