Greetings to everybody, It has been around 20 years since I last contributed to Benz World. I still own my 1982 380 SEC. I replaced the fuel distributor, fuel injectors, fuel lines, accumulator, fuel pump, fuel filter, and kickdown relay. Additionally, I cleaned all fuel lines and the fuel tank, replaced the starter, and installed a new catalytic converter, pre-cat, dampener, and muffler. My 380 SEC is fully compliant with California regulations; nonetheless, I am facing a significant issue. I cannot figure out why my fuel pressures are sky high in the 120’s and why the vehicle has zero power, where its highest speed is 20 mph and it bogs down at 2000 rpm’s. It idles smoothly at 550 rpm, although it exhibits little power and the fuel pressures are very high. Any assistance and guidance would be appreciated. I have perused several posts and consulted my manuals, nevertheless I am perplexed in resolving this issue. Thank you.
