Is the failure to start due to the starting motor not engaging the engine, a lack of spark, or insufficient fuel?
Driving a vehicle with a jumper substituting the fuel pump relay is quite hazardous. I trust you are not engaging in such activity. In the event of an accident or mechanical breakdown of a gasoline line, the pump will persist in delivering fuel until the tank is depleted or the fire consumes the wiring.
