Fascinating, I consulted the book and examined all the settings of the vehicle. I discovered no information on a chime while shifting into park. Prior to yesterday, I did not believe I had ever heard a chime before. It will be intriguing to see others' opinions on whether they get one or not.

It pertains to the electronic shift in conjunction with the 9-speed transmission. Parking is accomplished by just touching a button.

I suspected that may be the situation. I assert that all model years are equipped with the park button, and it is noteworthy that others do not perceive the chime.

The 9-speed transmission will automatically engage Park if the driver's door is opened without the Park selection being made. The chime serves as an alert that Park has been chosen, either manually or automatically.

It seems to function as a customizable option, similar to the toggle for Unlock at Park. However, maybe not.
